Girls soccer picks up three more wins

It was a good week for the Mountain Home Lady Tiger girls soccer team last week, as they picked up wins over Fruitland, Vallivue and Jerome.

Mountain Home 11

Fruitland 0

Nine different players scored for the Lady Tigers last Monday when they beat Fruitland, 11-0, at Eastside Park in Mountain Home.

Emily Moranda scored three goals, Jessica Hendershot, Chanda Lindsay, Angelina Garcia and Shianna Hawley all scored goals and also had assists. Jen Rumley, Stacy Sigloh, Lindsay Horgan and Danielle Green also had goals. Shalamer Enriquez, Savannah Lopez and Jessica Egusquiza also had assists.

Savannah Lopez had four saves on goal as goalkeeper, and Francesca Hale had two saves on goal as goalkeeper.

Mountain Home 4

Vallivue 2

The Lady Tigers improved to 4-0-4 in SIC 4A conference soccer last Thursday with a 4-2 win at Vallivue.

Jessica Hendershot scored two goals and had one assist. Emily Moranda and Francesca Hale both had goals and assists, and Carolyn Lytle had an assist.

Savannah Lopez came up with 15 saves on goal as goalkeeper.

Jerome 1

The Lady Tigers capped off Homecoming week with an 8-1 non-conference soccer win over Jerome Friday at Eastside Park.

Jessica Hendershot knocked in three goals, Chanda Lindsay had two. Shianna Hawley scored one goal and had four assists, and Emily Moranda and Jen Rumley also had goals. Carmen Santy had two assists and Jessica Egusquiza and Francesca Hale each had one assist.

Goalkeeping duties were shared by Savannah Lopez and Mercedes Prand, who each had three saves.

The win improved the Lady Tigers to 8-1-4 on the season.
