After a good first week of boys soccer play, the Mountain Home Tigers found the going tough as injuries thinned their roster.

The Mountain Home Tigers saw their win streak snapped at three last Tuesday, when they dropped a 5-0 boys soccer match to Vallivue at Vallivue.

The Tigers got a goal by Nick Gula in the second half to avoid the shutout as they lost to Kuna, 3-1 Thursday.

"Injuries are killing us right now," said Tiger boys soccer coach Andrew Kerr after the match.

"Plus, with all the players we don't have, we barely have enough players to have a team, so I don't know if we're going to be able to keep both programs (JV and varsity) at this point. We just don't have enough. Right now our defense is in shambles because we're missing our sweeper, our leader back there. We're just trying to hold it together until he can come back.

"We've had a couple other injuries, but they're playing through it because we don't have enough subs. We're just going to have to sit down and look at the numbers and see if we can maintain both programs right now."
