Four head to state rodeo finals

The Mountain Home High School Rodeo Team had 11 members this year and four of those qualified for the State Rodeo Finals by finishing in the top six of their respective events at the district level.

Tye Riley and Clint Cameron qualified in Team Roping finishing 2nd. Justin Jarvis qualified in Team Roping finishing 6th and also in Tie-Down Roping tying for 5th and 6th.

Jarrod Roberson qualified in Tie-Down Roping tying for 5th and 6th.

Katie Kerfoot finished 7th in Barrel Racing, just missing a trip to state.

The State Finals will be held in Pocatello June 19-25. The top four in each event will advance to the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette, Wyo., in July.
