The Mountain Home Tigers picked up wins in girls and boys singles and boys doubles at Kuna.

Justin Brummitt won the number one boys singles match, 6-2, 6-3.

The Tigers had three matches go three sets, with Skyview sweeping the others in straight sets.

Justin Brum went three sets in boys singles before losing.

Jordan Niksich and Matt Ward went three sets in boys doubles, and Cami Pachner and Samantha Springer went three sets in girls doubles.

The mixed doubles team of Phil Roemer and Breanna White forced a second set tie-breaker before losing.

Bishop Kelly 11

Zach Fischer picked up Mountain Home's only win against Bishop Kelly, winning 7-5, 6-4 in boys singles.

"After dropping the first two games, Zach played very smart, hitting to his opponent's weaker forehand side to win his advantage," said Tiger tennis coach Phil McCluskey.

"Others that played well but were unable to win were Dan Remington (4-6, 3-6) and Justin Richins in boys singles. Taylor Acuff and Vince Canlas played well in boys doubles, stepping up to the varsity from the JV squad. They were in every game."

The Tigers were at Emmett on Monday and play at Vallivue tomorrow (Thursday). They close out their regular season schedule on May 9 at home against Nampa.
