Judy Miller, 52, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, at a Boise hospital.

Viewing was held Monday, Jan. 3, at Aclesa Funeral Chapel in Boise.

Judy was born March 14, 1952, to Thomas and Joann Johnson in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minn. She attended school there where she graduated in 1970. While in school she met the love of her life, Jim. They were married in 1973. Jim later joined the Air Force which led to travel. They traveled as far as Lakenheath, England, but decided to call Idaho home. During this time, the couple had two daughters, Jennifer and Julie.

She worked in nursing where she found a love for medical transcription and found a 'family' at the V.A. Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jim; daughters, Jennifer and Julie and sons-in-law, Lee and Dustin, and her grandchildren.

"She had many duties as wife, mother, grandma, Girl Scout leader, teacher, friend and listener. She was always there when needed and will be missed for her sharp mind, great cooking and fantastic smile," her family said.
