Carole E. Bell (Ferguison), 62, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at a local care center with her family by her side.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at the New Hope Christian Fellowship, 670 N. 4th East St., Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.

Carole was born on Jan. 25, 1942, in Pleasantville Iowa, the daughter of Thomas (Ray) and Viola Ferguison. The family moved to Boise in 1948.

After meeting her love, Clarence Donald Bell, assigned to Mountain Home AFB, they were married on Aug. 17, 1962, in Boise.

Carole followed Clarence (Don) around the world throughout his Air Force career. In 1978 they were stationed back at Mountain Home AFB where they both decided to make their home.

Carole loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, cleaning and taking care of others,

"Carole had a heart as big as the world," her family said, "and everyone seemed to be drawn to her. Through all of her hard times and sickness she always kept her sense of humor. Carole will be missed by all who knew her."

Carole is survived by: her husband, Clarence, of Mountain Home; their four children, son Rick and his wife, Lucretia, of Bremerton, Wash., daughter Dawn and her husband, Pat McAvoy, daughter Danelle and her boyfriend, Shannon Davis, daughter Darcy and her husband, Joe Parkhill, all of Mountain Home; two brothers, Farrell and his wife, Carla, of Nampa, and Merrill with his wife, Mary, of California; nine grandchildren and her long time and closest friend, Jane Lyman, of Mountain Home.

Both parents and one brother, Errol, preceded Carole in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elmore County Long-Term Care Unit in Mountain Home.
