Two Tigers tapped for all-star game

Two Mountain Home Tiger seniors have been selected to play in this Friday's 9th Annual El Korah Shrine East-West High School Senior All-Star Football Game at Bishop Kelly.

The two are Matt Maurer (6' 1" 195 lbs.) and Kole Spaulding (5' 10" 180 lbs).

Maurer rushed for over 1,000 yards to lead the Tigers in rushing, and was second in team tackles at his linebacker position.

Spaulding led the Tigers in tackles, and also played guard on the offensive line.

The game is set to kick off at 1 p.m. Friday at Nick Ysursa Field at Bishop Kelly High School.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12. Tickets are available at the gate, and from Mountain Home Shriners. Net proceeds to benefit the Shrine Hospitals for Children and to provide for patient transportation to and from the Shrine Hospitals.
