The Tigers and Kavemen battled to a scoreless tie last Monday at Eastside Park in Mountain Home. The Tigers were unable to get a score, but got a great job from Aaron Swartz at goalkeeper. Swartz had 10 saves.

"He came up really big for us," said Tiger boys soccer coach Andrew Kerr.

The Tigers got revenge over the Nampa Bulldogs at Nampa last Thursday, beating the Bulldogs 2-1. Nampa had given the Tigers their first conference loss of the season last month at Mountain Home.

Brady Rector and JB Miesegaes had goals for the Tigers, Brian Weiss had an assist. Aaron Swartz had 10 saves on goal for the Tigers, who improved to 6-3-1 in conference play, and 9-5-2 on the season.

"We played really well," said Coach Kerr. "They were kind of rattled when we put a few in on them, and that kind of got them out of their game and they just started sending balls long, so it was nice."

Mountain Home hosted Skyview Monday, and closes out their regular season schedule tomorrow (Thursday) at home against Emmett.

"That will basically decide who's going to go where in the District seedings," said Coach Kerr, "so if we can win the next two, we'll be tied for second."
