Tigers girls soccer team shut out twice

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers lost twice last week in girls soccer action, getting shut out at home by both Caldwell and Payette.

Caldwell 2

Mountain Home 0

The Mountain Home girls dropped their SIC 4A conference soccer opener 2-0 to Caldwell last Monday at Eastside Park.

Lady Tiger assistant soccer coach Jay Lockett thought the girls showed the affects of their busy schedule in the loss.

"They had a Thursday game, Friday game, and they practiced Saturday, so it was a long time and they wore out, but over all, I saw a lot of good things from them -- good passing, good talking, just need a little more basic skills we need to work on."

Payette 3

Mountain Home 0

The Lady Tigers were hoping to avenge an earlier 5-4 loss to the Lady Pirates at Payette. Instead, they were shut out by the visitors from Payette.

Mountain Home was at Vallivue yesterday, and hosts Kuna this (Wednesday) afternoon, both contests league encounters. Saturday the Lady Tigers and the Tiger boys will host a soccer Jamboree at Eastside Park starting at 10 a.m.
