Tiger athletes earn SIC honors

With the end of the spring sports season comes many awards, and Mountain Home athletes were among those receiving honors.

In softball, three Mountain Home Lady Tigers earned First Team All-Conference honors.

Des Walden made First Team at third base, Ali Hillman earned First Team utility infielder, and Paula Doerr was First Team outfielder.

Receiving Honorable Mention All-Conference were Michelle Reynolds at shortstop and Krista Gorman in the outfield.

Several Mountain Home athletes earned All-Academic awards during the spring sports season.

Earning All-Academic All-Conference in baseball were Andrew Grodi and Jacob Dunn.

Carmen Santy, Michelle Reynolds, Krista Gorman, Christa Stanton, Des Walden and Cathy Gilbert earned All-Academic All-Conference in softball. Chris Vork made All-Academic

All- Conference in golf. Earning All-Academic All-Conference awards in tennis were Jessica Hoover, Karen Kohtz, Mary Booth, Ashley Durand, Danielle Faneuf, Lalli Martinez and Laura Rush.

Track and Field All-Academic All-Conference awards went to Steven Bonney, Nate Bundy, Tiffany Robins, Matt Maurer, Shawn Morin, David Armstrong, Robert Weed, Erin Mullen, Katie Roelofs and Erica Stanton.
