Mountain Home's girls and boys soccer teams were both eliminated from their District III 4A soccer tournaments last week.

Mountain Home's girls soccer team lost to Vallivue, 5-0 in their District opener, and then were put out of the tourney with a 5-0 loss to Emmett.

The Lady Tigers ended the season with a 6-12-1 record.

Mountain Home opened the boys district play against Emmett, and led most of the way, before falling in overtime, 3-2. Stephen Reinschmidt scored both goals for Mountain Home.

The Tigers stayed alive in the district boys soccer tourney by ousting Caldwell, 3-1. Stephen Reinschmidt, Marcus Santistevon and Chris Ouellette all had goals for Mountain Home. Jeff Hawley had two saves.

The Caldwell win put Mountain Home in the third-place game against Kuna, and the Tigers came up short, 2-1, to finish fourth.

They finished the season with a 6-11-1 record.
