Boys soccer team scores two wins

After three straight losses to open the season, the Mountain Home Tiger boys soccer team came away with two road wins last week.

Mountain Home 11

Fruitland 2

The Tigers scored early and often last Monday at Fruitland, downing the Grizzlies 11-2 in non-conference soccer for their first win of the young season.

Stephen Reinschmidt scored five goals and had an assist in the win. Brady Rector had two goals and two assists. Chris Ouellette, Marcus Santistevan and Brian Weiss each scored a goal and had an assist. Kevin Lee scored a goal, and Jeff Hawley and Wayne McNamar both had assists. Tiger goalie Mitch Thomas had six saves.

Mountain Home 2

Kuna 1

The Tigers opened SIC 4A conference soccer at Kuna last Thursday, and came away with a 2-1 win.

Kevin Lee and Brady Rector scored goals for the Tigers, with Brian Weiss and Stephen Reinschmidt getting assists. Mitch Thomas had a great game at goalkeeper, getting 11 saves.
