Margaret B. Dutton, 89, of Mountain Home, died Monday, April 7, 2003, at a care center in Boise.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 11, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Margaret was born Feb. 3, 1914, in Boise, the daughter of James B. and Christina (Lyon) Thomson.
She attended school in Mountain Home and Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1932.
She married William W. Dutton in 1939.
Margaret earned her Teaching Certificate from the College of Idaho in Caldwell. She taught school in Grand View, Mayfield and Mountain Home for more than 30 years.
Margaret was a member of the First Congregational Church of Mountain Home, Delta Kappa Gamma, Mountain Home Senior Center, the Treasure Valley Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind, and was past treasurer of the Idaho Education Association, Mountain Home Chapter.
Margaret is survived by: her son, Bob Dutton and his wife, Diane, of Boise, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, son James, sister Jean and great-grandson Lucas. Memorials may be made in Margaret's name to the Mountain Home Senior Citizens Center, 1000 N. 3rd East St., Mountain Home, ID 83647, or to a charity of choice.
