A private party of teens and young adults that got out of hand has resulted in a number of charges being filed in connection with the alleged forcible rape of an 18-year-old local woman last weekend.

Police arrested seven individuals over the weekend in connection with the incident and are expected to file charges against an eighth person as well.

The incident allegedly took place at a private residence Friday where a party was being held, at which drugs and alcohol were present. The location was not released by authorities. Police said the woman was apparently incapacitated when she was attacked.

Her mother brought her to the police station the following day to report the attack.

* Carlos A. Boada, 18, charged with rape, infamous crimes against nature, and battery.

* Bradley Strode, 21, charged with rape, battery, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (six counts).

* Kevin Jackson, 21, charged with accessory to rape, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (six counts).

* David Copeland, 20, charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (six counts) for supplying alcohol at the party.

* Chad Gilbert, 22, charged with accessory to rape.

* A 16-year-old male, charged with accessory to rape.

* A 17-year-old male, charged with battery.

Police said they also expect to file accessory to rape charges against another 17-year-old male who allegedly was present.

The suspects are all from Mountain Home or Mountain Home AFB.
