Dear Editor, Improvements to our community are being done by a lot of people. The Mayor and City Council have been doing a lot of different things to improve our town. Look at how well Railroad Park and other parks in town are being improved by city employees and many, many volunteers. Our water department and other city workers are responsible for many improvements...

After less then a week on the job, Barry Peterson has resigned as Elmore County Coroner. Peterson was named coroner on June 21, and was told the appointment was effective immediately. That was on a Friday, by the end of the day on June 22, the county had a death that needed signed off on and the new coroner could not be reached. ...
