Canyon Creek Bark N Moo members made dog and cat blankets for a community service project. They were donated to Small Animal Clinic and the Mountain Home Animal Shelter. Mountain Home Elks Lodge 2276 held their annual Hoop Shoot contest on Jan. 5. The open gym competition was a qualifying event to determine who will make it onto the district competition later this spring. Children ages 8-13 from Elmore County and Eastern Owyhee County were able to take part in the yearly event.
