13th annual Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo

The rodeo was organized in the memory of Daniel Dopps, who was 19 when he passed away due to injuries sustained while bull riding on August 7, 2005. Dear Editor, I totally, completely, 100% agree with the excellent editorial in the Mountain Home Newspaper today. It irks me a great deal that people are so non-caring about their environment. I was walking down Canyon Creek one day recently and a guy threw out his disposable drink container, plastic spoon, and other debris--right in front of me. I also have five acres south of Mountain Home that some folks have thought was a nice place to dump their garbage. Grrr!!!...

Dear Editor, I appreciate that while the House is in session, Representative Megan Blanksma provides a ‘legislation update’ in the paper weekly. However, I find it ironic that you printed an article on the Pertussis (Whooping Cough) outbreak in the Treasure Valley March 7th and then you turn the page to find Rep. Blanksma providing us an update on HB 494...
