Dorothy Bray Nichols, 92, a resident of Glenns Ferry, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Poplar Grove Assisted Living in Glenns Ferry. Arrangements are pending under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service -- Gooding Chapel.

TSgt. Chris Carrier, 35, a 366th Fighter Wing Airman from Mountain Home Air Force Base, was found dead in his Meridian home Sunday, April 21. A Meridian police spokesperson indicated no foul play is believed to be involved. At present, pending the coroner's report, authorities believe the Carrier, who had some medical problems, died of an accidental -- not deliberate -- overdose of medication.
