Arson suspect faces arraignment

Bott, Wright plan nuptials

U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Dakota Meyer was recently awarded the Medal of Honor for his courageous actions in Afghanistan, which included enduring enemy fire to rescue fellow soldiers. When asked whether he realized his actions were extraordinary, Sgt. Meyer said, "No, I don't. It would have been extraordinary if I'd brought them (all) out alive. That would have been extraordinary."...

One in custody following high-speed chase

A Meridian woman remains in custody following a high-speed chase on the interstate that ended north of Glenns Ferry on Nov. 15. According to a report from the Elmore County Sheriffs Department, the pursuit started around 2:45 p.m. after Noelle M. Allen was reported traveling east in the westbound lane near milepost 74.
