'Y' project meeting set Sept. 16

The Community Leadership Development Committee (CLDC) is inviting the public to take part in a special meeting Sept. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Mountain Home High School gymnasium to explain the process for possibly bringing a YMCA to the community.

I wrote this poem for my Husband when he had to go on his First deployment, I was devistated, but after I wrote this I just kept reading it over and over and it helped me a lot. I want to share it with other Military Spouses to help them get through their Husband/Wife being deployed...

Surrounded by family, Denise B. Kennedy, 61, found serenity on Sept. 6, 2009, as she drifted to sleep for the last time in a Boise hospital from an unexpected aneurysm. Denise is survived by her husband Lowell (Butch), her mother Ruby Bower, two sons, Lowell and William (Scott), sisters Dee Ewing and Max Bower, brother Lee Bower, several nieces and nephews, friends across the country whom she held dear, and, of course Jack, who misses her immensely...
