Two people were killed in two separate --but related -- accidents Friday after winter conditions turned area roads into ice-skating rinks. The storm that struck last week caused literally hundreds of slide-offs and accidents on the interstate in Elmore County March 1 and 2, but Friday morning those poor road conditions turned deadly...

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Loll of Mountain Home will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Elk's Lodge on March 10, beginning at 1 p.m. All friends and family are invited to share to occasion with the couple. Juanita Faye Creason, 64, of Mountain Home, died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at home with her three girls by her side. Per her request, no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Juanita was born in Calistoga, Calif., in the Napa Valley on Aug. 11, 1942. In 1960 Juanita married Joseph Kirschner. Luveda L. Martin, 84, of Mountain Home, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at a Boise hospital after a long battle with cancer. Brenda Ferrell, 57, of Mountain Home, died peacefuly at home on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007. Perce Hall, 93, of Mountain Home died Feb. 28, 2007, at the Marquis Care Center in Boise. He was surrounded by family and friends.
