Frederick Edwin Kase of Mountain Home, ID, was born to Bessie (Marley) Kase and Edwin Kase in Oregon City, OR on April 27, 1944. He passed away at the age of 80 on September 7, 2024 after rapid progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Fred grew up in Pocatello, ID hunting and building and shooting black powder rifles with his father and their friends in the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, and spending time at his parent’s cabin in Island Park.
