It makes me very sad to think about the backwards steps our nation has taken. It's overwhelming to me. Taking care of my circle of family and friends is what I can successfully focus on at the moment and when we're all right, then my circle can increase, like ripples.

Take care of your own; teach them right from wrong and to do the right thing even when no one is looking...that's called integrity.
Teach them not to fear standing up and supporting those that need help and for what's right. If this starts at home, it will ripple out.
