Thought I'd do a little sharing

Howdy Mountain Home!

My family's home finally sold and is in the process of closing! They've been trying to sell it since they moved to Japan and it is a huge burden off our shoulders!

OU is doing well...getting hit by some nasty weather and I'm thankful I am well stocked on winter supplies and driving-in-inclement-weather skills from Idaho. I think I'm the only owner of an ice scraper on campus. :p

Semester is over next week, then I'm off to Arkansas to see the boyfriend before going to my first foreign country- Japan! I will have my camera ready to go to share the adventure.

Or to take pictures of my miniature dachshunds. Gosh I miss them!!

I was initiated into Alpha Phi Omega right before Thanksgiving. It's been an incredible time as a pledge, and I'm excited to see what next semester brings with my new brothers!

All my butt-kissing and hogging of sports photo assignments paid off last week, and I was asked to shoot the Oklahoma v Oklahoma State football game! It was extremely exciting. Would have been moreso if the Sooners had decided to play football of course. But that's life.

Thanks for the update... I love hearing from you! How exciting to be able to cover that game! There is more of that I'm sure.

KH, Melodie IS a special young lady. She has blogged here and commented on some pretty hot topics. She took a lot of criticism that wasn't done in as ladylike a manner as she recieved it.

She did alot of growing up, right here on the blogs in front of us.

Melodie I'm darn happy to hear from you. Sounds like you are having the time of your life. Are you going to stay in Japan or is it a visit?

I hope you miss Mountain Home just a little bit lol!

Sure wish we could get our house sold (rental) it would be a weight off our shoulders too! It was suppose to be an investment, but instead it turned into a nightmare...

Have you been watching the Broncos? :)

It's just a visit unfortunately, and a brief one at that. Thank you all for the compliments :)

I haven't unfortunately. I'm generally really busy with work- the only football I catch is OU football because it's hard to miss here! I do pay attention to where they're at in the polls though.
