Update on National Qualifiers' Fundraising

On May 5- The Talkin' Tigers will be having their awards night, and debate-a-thon. The debates/speeches will begin at about 7 p.m. The two weeks or so leading up to the event, team members will be given sponsor sheets. Even a dollar or two adds up if we get all of our students to participate. Donation jars will also be in front of all debaters.

May 8- Car Wash/Bake Sale/Yard Sale/Silent Auction

May 12- Spaghetti feed. Tickets will be $5. All-you-can-eat spaghetti, and the students taking interpretations to Nationals will be performing. The silent auction will close this night probably around 8 p.m., and winners will be announced.

We are getting together the silent auction items right now. A few categories we would appreciate donations in are:

BBQ/Grilling- Maybe some coupons for meat from a local store, grilling supplies (spatulas, tongs, etc.) meat rubs, marinades.

Movie night- Movies, popcorn, snacks, soda coupons, etc.

Spa Day- spa coupons, facial/hair/nail products

Lawn Care- really anything small that can be used for lawn care.

There are more baskets, but I can't remember all of them at the moment. If you would like to donate, let John Petti know at the high school, or contact me.
