Yay!
I noticed the curvature of the back wall. Did your dad work out of a Quonset Hut? Oh the memories. And all of the clipboards boards are covered and aligned in a nice neat orderly military manner.
Beau,
He started out as a cook and by the time he retired, he was doing the accounting for the chow halls at Lackland AFB. As a side note, I remember WELL, eating in the chow halls during Thanksgiving because he was working. We ate with the 'troops' :)
I'm not sure when this pic was taken, but being he was a Staff Sargeant here, I'm guessing it could have been late 60's, early 70's so that would put us in San Antonio at that time. He was stationed at Bergstrom AFB while he was in Vietnam, (I was maybe 2 at that time, so '65-66 timeframe?)and we moved to SA in '68. He retired from the AF in '72, went to school for a few years and then entered into Civil Service as a Jet Engine Mechanic at Kelly AFB; then retired in '94, from Civil Service.
