I do enjoy the movies, and I like to see what movies get awards...that often means it will be worth seeing. So, thank you for this sum-up.
However, I refuse to watch the awards show.
I don't give a hoot about any of the actors and how they do. That is really what the show is about. Why is it this country glorify these people? We don't hold huge award shows for the Nobel Peace Prize...that would be interesting.
