Scott D. Young

Scott D. Young passed away suddenly February 16, 2026. He was born to Albert and Jeanette Young at Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID. After high school he joined the Marines. After his service, he loved riding his Harley and met his love Corol, who he spent a lifetime with. Scott worked at Saylor Creek Bombing Range for 37 years as an Air Traffic Controller, which he so loved.

Scott loved animals and panning.

He leaves behind 2 brothers, Mark and Troy (Pam), sister-in-law Carol (Jerry), brother-in-law Dutch, 8 nephews, 13 nieces and multiple greats.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Corol, brothers Tim and Kip.

Services will be March 13 at 12:30 pm at the Mountain View Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at American Legion Post 101.
