Extension office offers weed control tips

Curveseed Butterwort, commonly known as Bur Buttercup, represents one of the noxious weeds people in Mountain Home and surrounding communities need to control as warmer temperatures cause these and other weeds to spread into their yards and flower beds.

With the spring season starting to approach communities across southern Idaho, the University of Idaho’s extension office in Mountain Home urged residents in the local area to stay ahead of the weeds trying to invade their yards.

This message came as a result of the calls the extension office received last year from a number of folks looking for guidance on weed control.
