Murder case hits another setback

Jocelynn Landers stands accused of committing actions that led to the death of her mother.

A woman facing charges of second-degree murder in connection with the death of her mother at their home in Prairie back in 2021 had the charge temporarily dismissed during a court proceeding held Feb. 12.

Jocelynn Landers faced felony charges in connection with the death of Melissa Landers, who was found dead at the family’s residence on South Landers Lane in the rural community.
