Supporting efforts to benefit veterans, first responders

Senem Sessions joins Uli Danner, Diana Witten and Susanne Catanese from the Mountain Home Christkindl Markt as they hand a $1,000 check to Angelo Muna and Josh Yewcic from the local Heroes on the Water organization during a presentation held Thursday afternoon.

The money the German cultural group provided helps support efforts to give military veterans, first responders and their families access to kayak fishing and other recreational programs as a way to provide these individuals access to various types of outdoor wellness efforts.
