Couple gains state Fish and Game award

Efforts to plant various types of vegetation along waterways in parts of Idaho represented one of the projects that led Walt and Sue Rueger to earn this year’s regional-level wildlife reservists of the year award.

The efforts of two Mountain Home residents to promote various wildlife projects across southwestern Idaho led them to earn recognition from the Idaho Fish and Game Department.

During a recent event, Walt and Sue Rueger were named the southwest region’s wildlife reservists of the year.
