Black History banquet scheduled

Members from Mountain Home’s Black History Committee invite others in the local community to come together to celebrate a century of Black history commemoration during a banquet scheduled for Friday evening.

Celebrating its 38th anniversary in Mountain Home, the semi-formal event begins with social hour at 6:30 p.m. that evening at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge, 325 South 3rd West St., with the program set to follow at 7:15 p.m.
