Our nation must return to its principles

Dear editor,

We are facing the danger of our country and calling for a return to the principles that made America great. Our growing debt and deteriorating morals have driven us far from the founders’ intent.

Media elitism and “political correctness” are out of control.

Worst of all, we seem to have lost our ability to discuss important issues calmly, regardless of party affiliation. I care about what works; not whether someone has an (R) or a (D) after their first name.

We must come together respectfully to solve our problems.

Godless government, mean-spirited attempts and reckless spending have put us on a road of decline. What has become of America’s common sense and decency?

Perhaps America may once again be “one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

P.S. - I support all law enforcement agencies.
