Moon mission has local ties

A graduate from Mountain Home High School continues to lead efforts to return humanity back to the Moon as part of a manned mission scheduled to begin this week.

Richard Koelsch, a 1998 graduate of Mountain Home High School, became part of the NASA team leading the Artemis II mission to send four astronauts to orbit the Moon for the first time since the Apollo 17 mission that ran from Dec. 7 to 19, 1972.
