Barbara Ann (Barb) Raber

Barbara Ann (Barb) Raber, age 86, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, in her home, surrounded by family.

She is survived by her husband, Arlie, married 66 years. She has four surviving children: Arlie (Butch) Raber III and wife Susan, Elizabeth(Beth Ann) Deschene and husband Michael, Brian Raber, and Steven Raber and wife Nannette.

She enjoyed 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Wynette Deska and brother Omar(Tex) Butzer.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Omar and Viola Butzer, sister, Phyllis Becker & brother, Donny Butzer.

She was very strong in her faith and led a prayerful life. She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother. Barb was always smiling, cheerful, and compassionate. She enjoyed being with friends and family. She loved hummingbirds, flowers, and the great outdoors. She delighted in playing games and cards with family and friends.

Barb was very charitable with her time and talents, donating her crafts (crocheted afghans, hats, and prayer shawls) to hospitals, churches, veterans, and all those in need.

Barb will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A service will be held on January 30, 2026, 12 pm at Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home, ID
