Richard Allen Lente

Richard Allen Lente, 59, passed away from natural causes at his home in Elko, Nevada on November 13, 2025. He was the beloved son of Antonio and Dorothy Lente.

Richard was born on February 6, 1966, in Sacramento, California. Richard graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1984. Four years later, he received a degree in Business Management from Boise State University. His name was often on the Dean’s List.

Richard was in the car sales business. He managed several car dealerships throughout the United States. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his dad spent many hours fishing together. Richard also enjoyed boating.

Cocker Spaniels were Richard’s favorite dog breed. Maggie May and Daisy were his special companions. He had a fondness for animals.

Richard is survived by his mother Dorothy, his brother Christopher, two nephews, and one niece. He is also survived by his former spouse, Paula, and her two children.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Lente.

On February 6, 2026, a Rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. There will be a luncheon following at the Parish Hall.

The family requests that donations be made in Richard’s memory to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
