Antonio (Tony) Luis Lente
Antonio (Tony) Luis Lente, 83, passed away from Covid on February 10, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather.

Tony was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on August 24, 1938. He spent his younger years in Colorado. Tony met Dorothy Frykblom in Colorado, and they married on June 26, 1956. They were married for 67 years.
On March 6, 1960, Tony enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served honorably as a jet engine mechanic until his retirement as a Technical Sergeant on January 1, 1981. Following retirement from the military, Tony worked at the Amalgamated Sugar Company for 13 years. After that, he worked the next eight years for the US Forest Service, a job where he found a lot of enjoyment.
Tony was known as a family man and a hard worker. Tony placed his family first. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Tony loved to go fishing. He shared that love with his sons and grandchildren.
Tony also loved being in the mountains. Camping with the grandchildren was a special time for Tony. Annie, Tony’s black lab, was also a constant companion. Tony is survived by his spouse Dorothy, his sons Richard and Christopher (Erika), three grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, and Nikita, and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Kinsley, and Luna. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother.
On February 6, 2026, a Rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. There will be a luncheon following at the Parish Hall.
The family requests that donations be made in Tony’s memory to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
