Event honors civil rights leader

A message of unity and peace took the stage on Saturday as people in the Mountain Home community gathered to honor the memory of one of the nation’s civil rights leaders.

Pastors, city officials and others in the local area met at the Elks lodge in Mountain Home during this year’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast.
