Former Legion representative facing charges of wire, tax fraud

Charles “Abe” Abrahamson got suspended from his duties as a member of the state’s American Legion executive committee back in April 2024.

A former member of the Idaho American Legion who also served with Post 101 in Mountain Home faces the possibility of spending more than 20 years in prison on charges of wire fraud and tax fraud following a hearing held last week.

Charles “Abe” Abrahamson, formerly of Mountain Home, received the charges following his indictment before the federal grand jury in Boise, U.S. Attorney Bart Davis announced.
