Officials from the Idaho Secretary of State’s office continued the process involving an investigation into the cause of reported discrepancies identified during the local elections held Nov. 4.
Following the hand count of ballots cast in all of the precincts in Elmore County on Nov. 24, Secretary of State Phil McGrane and a team from the state organization returned to Mountain Home the following day as they worked to identify what led to 388 ballots from being included in the total votes cast during the consolidated election.
