Letters to Santa program begins

Santa Claus announced plans to start collecting letters written to him by local children as part of a yearly program hosted by the Mountain Home Fire Department.

Fire Chief Mark Moore, designated by Santa to be his local “head elf” for helping answer mail sent to the North Pole, plans to start checking the Santa’s Mailbox set up outside of Fire Station 1 at the corner of South 2nd East and East 2nd South streets.
