Officials discuss Qatar mission

Questions and concerns regarding the creation of a new international military combat training mission at Mountain Home Air Force Base involving military members from the nation of Qatar gained attention as city and base officials met with state representatives during a scheduled meeting.

Col. David Gunter, who recently took command of the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base, provided an update regarding the continuing development of the new training squadron during the Nov. 14 hearing.
