Helping state’s veterans

William “Lucky” Luckraft takes time to load cans of food into a basket stored in his truck as he prepares to deliver an assortment of food to the Idaho State Veterans Home on Friday.

Members from the Mountain Home Elks Lodge donated 350 pounds of non-perishable food along with an additional $300 to cover additional perishable food expenses as part of this year’s Frank Dalton Food Convoy.
