Gunfighters welcome new commander

Following years of numerous challenges to the nation’s strategic military posture that continues to evolve, airmen at Mountain Home Air Force Base welcomed their new commander during a ceremony last Tuesday.

Col. David Gunter took command of the wing from Col. David Alfaro, who recently returned to the base following a scheduled deployment to an undisclosed location overseas in support of combat operations in the Middle East.
