Earl devoted his life to service—both to his country and his community. He served with distinction in the United States Air Force for 32 years, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. As a hydraulic mechanic specializing in C-130s, C-5s, and C-141s, he played a vital role in maintaining the operational readiness of these essential aircraft. His military service included deployments during both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm/Desert Shield.
Beyond active duty, Earl continued his commitment to national defense as an Air Reserve Technician(ART) and Reservist for 34 years. His dedication extended even further through 36 years of Civil Service work following his military retirement—a testament to his enduring sense of duty and patriotism.
Earl was also a proud member of American Legion Post 101 in Mountain Home. His enthusiastic volunteerism and steadfast support for fellow veterans reflected a deep sense of camaraderie and honor that defined much of his life.
For 44 years, Earl shared a joyful life with his beloved wife and friend and lover, Judith Elaine Younger. Together they embraced adventure and laughter—especially through their shared passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles across the open road.
