Jimmie Scott Markham, 48, of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away on September 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was welcomed into the world as the youngest child of Jim and Marolyn Markham. His childhood was filled with baseball games, trips to the lake, birthdays at hunting camp, and countless moments of laughter.
A talented and dedicated carpenter, Scott took immense pride in his craft. His hands built more than homes—they built a life filled with love, adventure, and lasting memories. He had a deep passion for the outdoors and found joy in water skiing, skateboarding, riding dirt bikes, camping, and fishing. Nature was his sanctuary, and he embraced every moment in it with enthusiasm.
Above all else, Scott was a devoted husband and a proud father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie, and their two sons, Jaxon and Jariah, who were the light of his life. His love for his family was fierce, unwavering, and deeply rooted.
Scott is also survived by his father, Jimmie Keith Markham; his sister, Bonnie Markham; his sister, Kimberly Adeosun (Ayo); and his brother, Dan Markham (Nikki).
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Marolyn Markham.
A memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home, Idaho. Friends, family, and all who knew and loved him are warmly invited to attend.
Scott will be remembered for his big heart, adventurous spirit, and enduring love for his family. Though he is gone, his presence will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
