John Alan Curley

John Alan Curley, of Grand View, Idaho, entered into heaven peacefully on 31 August 2025, with his awesome family by his side.
John was born on 22 July 1962in Havre, Montana, to the late Joanie Curley. He had an older brother, Terry Curley, and two sisters, Gail (Curley) Wilmes and Laurie (Curley) Holmes.
He graduated from Havre High School. (Go Blue Ponies!) He lettered in both basketball and football and earned a football scholarship to play at Lawrence, Kansas.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Tammy (Austin) Curley. Together, they raised the best children in the world. Ashley "Beautiful" Curley (the firstborn). Sarah "Bu bear" (Curley) Cade married Cody Cade, and together they had Cairo Cade (granddaughter). Then came Caleb Curley (Best Son), as John called him. He married Alisyn "Sweetie" Curley, and together they had Emily Curley (granddaughter).
John taught all of his children to love Jesus and love each other. He loved spending time with his family and especially his two precious granddaughters, who brought so much joy to his life.
John spent almost 10 years in the Air Force and then decided he was going to be a cattle rancher. He spent many years in the registered Black Angus business. As he got older (and wiser), he traded the cattle business for carpentry. He did a masterful job with his remodeling and building.
John loved hunting, but what he loved most of all was Jesus. John loved telling people about Jesus. If you met John, then you would hear about Jesus. And now John is with his blessed Savior.
We will be having a "John's in heaven now" Celebration. It will be on Saturday, the 18th of October at 3 p.m. It will be held at the Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Grand View, Idaho. We hope to see you there as we celebrate and talk about John and Jesus.
