Thomas Davis Vesey, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away on August 12, 2025.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, he was born on December 12, 1951, to Leonard and Margaret Vesey in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Tom grew up in Mountain Home, Idaho, where he attended elementary, middle, and

high school. He went on to attend Idaho State University, where he played golf, served as the men’s golf coach, and joined Sigma Nu fraternity—making lifelong friendships that he deeply cherished.

He later earned his teaching degree from Lewis and Clark College in Lewiston, Idaho, and began his career teaching social studies to middle school students in St. Maries, Idaho. Over the years, he coached a variety of sports at both the middle school and high school levels, but his greatest passion was always golf. Tom was happiest on the golf course, whether playing or coaching. He led the golf teams at St. Maries High School in Idaho and later at Dysart High School in Arizona.

In 2005, Tom met Vicki in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and later married in San Juan Capistrano, California, in 2006. The couple resided in St. Maries, Idaho, until their move to Arizona in 2012, where they made their home until his passing.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Martha Parks. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; his sister, Cheryl, and her husband, John Dennis; his niece, Kallee Coleman; and many dear friends whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 25, 2025, from 4–6 p.m. at the White Tank Corral in Waddell, Arizona.
