AFAD parade entries due

Preparing to mark its 65th anniversary, Air Force Appreciation Day includes the state's largest parade, organizers said.

Community groups and other local organizations have until 5 p.m. Monday to submit their entries to take part in this year’s Air Force Appreciation Day parade.

Preparing to celebrate its 65th anniversary Sept. 6, more than 60 groups already submitted the paperwork needed to take part in this parade event, which remains the largest of its kind in Idaho, officials said.
